A database of FTIR-spectra of plants - arabidopsis, flax, soybean, poplar, parrotia, etc. - was analyzed and created. Primers of a number of plants genes were analyzed and selected for evaluation of their expression by qPCR method. FTIR spectroscopy data about the protein domains of amide I and amide II, which consist in the epidermis of arabidopsis leaves and soybean and flax seeds under chronic irradiation and in the leaves of arabidopsis, poplar and parrotia under different types of stress. The obtained results show the increasing of the level of β-structures in proteins under the influence of stress factors, that possibly allow the appearance of prion-like properties in proteins.
