Subbotin of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2 We studied geodynamic processes caused by the Earth's rotation, tectonic movements, geophysical perturbations; we also investigated thermal geotectonic processes, practical aspects of oil and gas production. Our purposes were monitoring of geodynamic parameters; reproduction of their behavior on the base of astronomical series; systematization of the information for improving of geodynamic models; solving fundamental theoretical problems of geodynamics, geotectonics, geophysics, resolving practical problems of oil and gas production. We made coordinate-temporal measurements with a help of GPS-station and astrolabe observations, we also carried out analysis of empirical observational data, theoretical research on the base of modern mathematical methods. Our results: 1) The GPS station in PGO as a reference point of European (EPN), Ukrainian (UPM) and international (IGS) permanent networks of GNS provided PGO participation in the international service of IERS. 2) We replenished astrometric series for studying changes of local gravity direction (LGD) by prism astrolabe observations. 3) The comparison of the series structure and the low-frequency components of the Earth's crust from GPS observations and LGD displacements from astrolabe observations revealed the existence of common perturbing factors for both types of data. 4) The application of the recurrent comparison method allowed improving models of polar components such as Chandler and annual also drift characteristics and the structure of changes in LGD. 5) We carried out theoretical research: a) of geotectonic processes to identify hydrocarbon resources DDD; b) of filtration processes in heterogeneous anisotropic oil and gas reservoirs to intensify production of the raw materials; 3) of thermal geophysical processes to identify the formation of hydrocarbon resources.
