Distancing from the CL of the screen circuit with its asymmetric magnetic connection with CL cables with a ferromagnetic core with adjustable magnetic parameters allowed to reduce the current in the screen circuit to 30-50% of the rated current of the CL, thereby significantly reducing energy losses in the screen and virtually eliminate its thermal effect on the current capacity of the CL. According to the research results, technical requirements have been developed for the prototype of CSS MP of high energy efficiency, at which at the final stage of the project it is planned to work out the main practical aspects of implementation of energy efficient CSS, including methods of regulating magnetic parameters of the core.
