The subject of the study is a digital coherent optical spectrum analyzer and its generalized characteristics which allow to improve image quality: operating range of spatial frequencies, spatial spectral resolution and energy resolution, spatial bandwidth, speed. The aim of the work is to develop ODP for image processing in thermal imaging surveillance systems (TISS) in real time. The work is designed to improve the quality of assessment of the state of heat-contrast objects in remote sensing in the infrared range of the spectrum from aerospace, terrestrial and marine media. The urgency of the work is due to increase in the need for TISS in various manufacturing and research industries, the agricultural sector, as well as a significant potential to improve the efficiency of these systems at the design stage. The general problem to be solved is the development of methodology and circuitry of ODP for image processing in TISS, designed to detect, recognize and identify objects of observation, to improve image quality, which increases the range of TISS, and hence increasing the probability of successful solution of the tasks facing the system. Such systems can be used in space and military industries, as well as for civilian use. ODP combines the advantages of optical and digital image processing, which allows you to process digital images in real time, which is extremely important in thermal imaging and aiming systems.
