In the magnetic field B0 ≈ 0.38 T, an experiment was performed on a stelarator Hurricane-2M (U-2M) with the 6th toroidal magnetic coil disconnected, for kϕ ≈ 0.22 and kϕ ≈ 0.3. The radial distribution of the flux of recharged particles indicates that the energy ions are localized in the Central region of the plasma column. The first experimental proofs of fast ions in a hybrid configuration are demonstrated. In U -2M discharges with low RF power and B0 = 0.35 T, fluctuations in plasma density at a frequency of 10-15 kHz are strongly localized in the region of significant gradients of Hα luminescence. A flash of 6 kHz oscillations in the central region is also observed in discharges with an average magnetic field (B0 = 0.067T). Strong m = 1 oscillations in the frequency range 10-20 kHz are observed in the cleaning discharge plasma with low temperature and magnetic field (B0 = 0.01 T). These oscillations are localized in the central part of the plasma. The frequency of plasma oscillations in the cleaning discharges is observed in the frequency range of the GAM mode, or exceeds it.
