The results and their novelty - the theoretical foundations of the expansion of integration groups have been developed and the sectoral directions of development of bilateral economic cooperation of Ukraine with the Visegrad Four countries have been determined. The tendencies of functioning of the economy of the Visegrad Four as an integrated regional system of the European economy are revealed. Regional convergence and urban development in the Visegrad Four countries are analyzed through the prism of the policy of territorial cohesion in the EU. The preconditions for the development of the integration of the Visegrad Four countries and Ukraine have been studied. Sectoral directions of development of bilateral economic cooperation of Ukraine with V4 countries are determined. The formation and development of territorial forms of trade relations with the V4 countries are studied. A comparative analysis of the investment attractiveness of Slovakia and Ukraine. A strategy for the orientation of integration processes in the real economy sector V4 + UA has been formed, taking into account the prospects of creating joint innovation clusters, technology and industrial parks in the region.
