The purpose of the research – to deepen knowledge of the action of factors of various nature on the ewe sexual activity and the sperm cryostability, to develop new and improve the effectiveness of existing techniques and methods of evaluation and regulating sheep reproduction, which take into account modern requirements for sheep breeding, are based on the use of the latest scientific achievements in biotechnology and biology of reproduction and constitute a unified system of managing the herd reproduction. Research methods – empirical: experiment (treatment of animals with biologically active substances), microscopy, description; universal: analysis (statistical, correlative and comparative), generalization. It are presented the results of the development of methods and of assessment of the reproductive abilities and functional state of the genital organs of ewes, parameters of ewe reproduction after the use of the different schemes of hormonal stimulation, parameters of sperm quality after the use of different schemes of the ram-teaser training, information about the kinetic parameters and the fertilizing ability of sperm under different schemes of preparation and freezing of ram sperm.
