The purpose of the research is scientific substantiation, development and realization of theoretical and technological bases of socialization of pupils and students of the east of Ukraine in the conditions of hybrid war in Donbas. Research methods: theoretical: theory of socialization, concepts of hybrid wars; interdisciplinary, technological, axiological, cultural, personality-oriented, activity, competence, information, environmental, institutional, resource approaches; analysis, synthesis, abstraction, generalization, forecasting, modeling, etc.; empirical: surveys, testing, methods of determining the general satisfaction index of V. Yadov (modification of N. Kuzmina, A. Rean), methods of determining the level of anxiety of Ch. Spielberg, questionnaire “Bass-Darky” to determine the level of aggression, observation, expert assessment and self-assessment, biographical, conversation, socio-pedagogical experiment. Based on the analysis of the scientific literature, the socio-pedagogical essence of hybrid war as a relatively new phenomenon in the modern realities of Ukraine is revealed. The specifics of the socialization process of pupils and students of the eastern region of Ukraine in the conditions of hybrid war in Donbas are theoretically substantiated, as a result of which social and psychological-pedagogical features of children and youth who became victims of unfavorable conditions of socialization as a result of hybrid war are determined; the specifics of education of children and youth in different territories of Ukraine are revealed; the genesis of social norms and value orientations of the youth of Donbas.
