Litvinenko Institute of Physical-Organic Chemistry and Coal Chemistry of the NAS of Ukraine popup.description2  Object of study. New carbenoid compounds, nucleophilic olefins, their derivatives for biological testing. The aim of the work is the synthesis of new carbenoid compounds and nucleophilic olefins, their derivatives. Study of their physicochemical properties. Research methods - synthetic, spectral (NMR spectroscopy), analytical (chromatographic, elemental analysis), computational (quantum chemical research). Research results: New carbenoid compounds and nucleophilic olefins, their derivatives based on 2-methylenephenanthro [9,10-d] imidazoline systems, fluorosubstituted carbenes, 9,10-dihydro-8H-imidazo [3,4-a] benzoxazinium system were synthesized. The directions of reactions of nucleophilic olefins with sulfur, giving hypervalent sulfur compounds, with trityl chloride, giving sterically shielded salts, ion exchange reactions in azole salts have been studied. The formation of carbene complexes with dimethyl sulfone with a hydrogen bond between the components was found. The structures of complexes of fluoro-substituted carbenes, 1,3-dimesityl-2-methylenephenanthro [9,10-d] imidazoline and complex of 1,3-bis-(2-trifluoromethylphenyl)imidazol-2-ylidene with iodine were established. The thermal effects of carbene reactions with dimethyl sulfone, dimethyl sulfoxide, and ketones were calculated by the DFT method. The synthesized compounds are promising for the search for new antimicrobial and antitumor compounds. Field of application - preparative synthesis of carbenoid compounds, nucleophilic olefins and their derivatives. Product Description popup.authors Yenia Vasyl I Gresko Sergey V. Doroshenko Tatyana F.
