Litvinenko Institute of Physical-Organic Chemistry and Coal Chemistry of the NAS of Ukraine popup.description2  Objects of research are biocompatible / biodegradable functionalized ionic liquids and surfactants with high surface activity, selective antimicrobial action and environmental friendliness. The aim of the work is to solve a scientific problem in the field of supramolecular chemistry related to the synthesis of new ionic liquids and surfactants with high functional activity, selectivity of action and environmental friendliness, ability to complex with macrocycles, antimicrobial and antidote activity. Research methods - NMR, IR, UV spectroscopy, gas-liquid chromatography, elemental analysis, methods of potentiometric and conductometric titration. Methods of synthesis have been developed and new amphiphilic compounds based on L-phenylalanine derivatives and taking into account the indicators of "green" chemistry have been obtained. The cationic groups of pyridinium, imidazole and choline were used, which allowed a comprehensive analysis of the influence of the chain of alkyl ethers (from C2 to C16) on the synthesis, toxicity and biodegradability of the obtained ionic liquids. Physicochemical studies of toxicity and biodegradation of some ionic liquids based on L-phenylalanine have been performed. Product Description popup.authors Burakov Mikola І. Karpichev Evgeny А.
