The analysis of existing models of compaction of dispersed materials is carried out, the basic directions of their application are defined and requirements to the developed models are formulated. Three new equations of compression of fine fractional materials of MMC are developed, analytical dependences of technological and power characteristics of process of consolidation on physical and mechanical properties of charge are allowed that allowed: to increase accuracy of approximation of experimental diagrams of consolidation at the raised and high pressures; to improve the methods of determining the technological characteristics of the process (stabilizing pressing pressure, energy consumption and stiffness of the charge); to develop a graphoanalytical method of identification of separate stages of deformation processes of pressing; to develop an experimental-analytical method of preliminary assessment of the density of charges in the pressure range from low to high and high; to offer a new indicator of compaction of fine-grained materials. The connection of the compaction of powder materials from homoatomic and heteroatomic compounds with the indicators of chemical bond strength, electronic structure and energy of interatomic interaction of a solid is established and described. The expediency of a joint study of the influence of the nature of the substance and the structural characteristics of the charge on the density of dispersed materials is shown. Based on the modeling of the influence of technological factors on the parameters of the pressing process of fine-grained ferrous materials (density, bulk density, fluidity) shows the feasibility of using the proposed density index in solving multidimensional optimization problems related to the development and improvement of briquetting materials.
