The favorable hereditary influence of the dispersed cast structure of the CCB with a cross section of 150 × 150 mm on the formation of small grain ferrite in the wire rod with a diameter of 5.5 mm from SAE 1006 steel in comparison with the wire rod made of the CCB with a cross section of 335 × 400 mm. The results of the work allowed to introduce at PJSC "DMK" energy-efficient technology for the production of low-carbon steel wire rod SAE 1006 and save energy consumption (1578 MJ / t (438 kWh / t)).
