Purpose - develop methodological basics (conceptual-methodical approach) of the rational and effective use of zonal potential soil fertility, crop rotation, organic and mineral fertilizers, biological potentials of varieties and hybrids for optimization and improvement of modern technologies of agricultural crop cultivation for a zone with insufficient and unstable precipitation. Methods - field and laboratory experiments. Collection and accumulation of an inforbank and its processing. Results and their Novelty: Responses of new released and promising varieties of winter and spring wheat, spring triticale, spring barley, and pea with resistance to lodging and shedding, corn hybrids with high drought resistance and complex resistance to the most common diseases in relation to growing conditions were investigated. Relationships between the cereal performance and crop rotation, organic and mineral fertilizers (in limited doses), chemical protection of crops against pests, diseases and weeds and other cultivation techniques (seed treatment and spraying with growth regulators and microfertilizers, sowing times, seeding rates, etc.) were evaluated. Basing on the results, we developed models of optimal parameters of interaction between agrotechnological factors in field crop rotation agrophytocenoses and optimized complex elements in the system of top-to-bottom technologies of their cultivation under the conditions of the eastern forest-steppe of Ukraine, providing the fulfillment of variety potentials, stable performance, improvement of product quality due to reduction in pesticide load by 11–12%, increase in the payback of fertilizers by 7–12%, and increase in the profitability by 10–15% Product Description popup.authors Avramenko Serhii V Bielienikhina Anna V.
