A unique experimental setup was using the FROG and a series of measurements of the amplitude-phase characteristics of femtosecond pulses were performed. Based on the analysis of the parameters of ultrashort pulses, the possibility of controlling the "chip" in the pulse and the need to use a compensator to reduce it is shown. Optimization of the optical circuit with the use of remote control of the experimental setup, which allows to determine the amplitude and phase characteristics of the pulse of the radiation source and, further, to provide automatic minimization of the chip size using a compensator controlled by the appropriate software. This is necessary for their future application as sources of "excitation" and "probing" for femtosecond laser spectroscopy of induced absorption.
