The study substantiates the conceptual model of transformation of forms of management of the agricultural sector into family farms; an analytical assessment of the current state of agricultural production in terms of basic organizational and legal forms with coverage of world experience in the development of progressive forms of agricultural production of the family type; developed scientific and methodological recommendations for the organization of family farms, including on a cooperative basis. Economic efficiency - increase in the number of small farms by 30 percent; creation of 3 thousand family farms annually; increasing the share of farms in the production of gross agricultural output to 15 percent; increase in the number of AOCs established by family farms by 100-120 units per year.
