The purpose of the work is to develop organizational and economic support for technology transfer and the formation of an entrepreneurial climate in research universities of Ukraine. Research methods: general and special research methods are used in the work, namely: analysis and synthesis - to study and generalize the main problems of technology transfer management in research universities; logical generalization - to determine the current state and problems of development of the Ukrainian technology transfer system; analytical - to identify trends in technology transfer, methods of expert assessments and sociological observations - to study the problems of starting a science-intensive business on the basis of research universities, as well as working with a database of projects with commercial potential, promotion and commercialization of proposals. As a result, the main problems in the direction of promotion of scientific and applied results in research universities in the domestic and world markets were identified, recommendations were made to improve state regulation of technology transfer system, marketing research was conducted to promote scientific and applied results on the world market.
