The subject of research is dark gray podzolic soil, winter rape, corn for grain, spring barley, fertilizer systems based on by-products and tillage. The purpose of the work is to substantiate and develop the theoretical foundations of ecologically safe system of fertilization and tillage in short-rotation crop rotation, which will ensure the preservation of soil fertility and crop productivity taking into account the conditions of climate change. Research methods. The research is based on field experiments to determine the relationship between the crop and the means of influencing it, using the following methods: visual to determine the phenological phases of growth and development of cultivated plants and weeds; quantitative-weight - to determine the moisture content in the soil, weediness of crops, air-dry mass of plants and weeds, parameters of crop structure and grain yield; chemical - to determine the content of nutrients in the soil and protein in the grain; mathematical and statistical - to assess the reliability of research results and correlation analysis; calculation and comparison - to analyze the economic efficiency of agronomic measures. An ecologically safe, soil-saving system of fertilization and cultivation of dark gray podzolic soil of the Forest-Steppe of Ukraine with the use of by-products in short-rotation crop rotation has been developed. The use of shelf tillage systems with the use of by-products provides favorable conditions for soil density for the growth and development of crop rotations, which were in the range of 1.05 - 1.28 g / cm3 in the layer (0-30 cm). With shallow (10-12 cm) and surface (6-8 cm) tillage, some compaction of the arable layer (0-30 cm) by 0.07 g / cm3 and 0.08 g / cm3, respectively, was observed, which does not exceed th Product Description popup.authors Veremeenko Serhiy I Luzhnyi Bohdan V Markarian Volodymyr V Polovyi Volodymyr M.
