The 694 parental forms are estimated, best of which are used for synthesis of 894 new experimental hybrids. By complex of basic economically valuable features, the information is received on variety investigation of 342 new experimental proper selection maize hybrids. The 45 new self-pollinating genecit plasmas lines Iodent, Lancaster, Lacon, Mih, etc. are created, with valuable selection traits and high grain yield capacity (4,0-4,5 t/hа). The methodology is developed for supplying a source material effective and qualitative assessment by selection traits, which determine its suitability for hybridization and precocious hybrid models improvement, based on alternative genetic plasmas in conditions of western Forest steppe of Ukraine. Based on newly-created lines, the precocious hybrids are created (FAO 190-285) with potential crop capacity 10,5-12,5 t/hа, with low grain collective moisture content (for 2,5-3,5 % lower than the standard), high cold-resistance, as well as the resistance to basic diseases and pests, and adapted to the conditions of western Forest steppe of Ukraine.
