The aim of the study. Improving the technology of growing new varieties of long flax and medium use flax in seed crops, which will increase seed yield. Determining the peculiarities of growth, development, and formation of the yield of fiber flax and medium use flax depending on the methods of sowing, seeding rates. Research methods: field - to determine the interaction of the research subject with natural and agronomic factors; measuring and weight - to determine the height of plants, yields of straw, fiber, seeds, the accumulation of air-dry mass; comparative - for the economic evaluation of the cultivation of different varieties of long flax and medium use flax; statistical, variance and regression - to determine the reliability of the results of experiments. The main results of the work. As a result of studying the productivity of seed crops of flax varieties Ivanivsky, Vruchiy, and Universal in 2019-2020 for different methods of sowing and sowing rates, it was found that the highest seed yield for sowing with a row spacing of 7.5 and sowing rates of 9 and 10 million pcs / ha and in varieties, the indicator was according to the average data of years of research: Ivanivsky - 1.25 and 1.21 t / ha; Vruchiy - 0.96 and 0.95 t / ha and Universal - 0.94 and 0.93 t / ha. The results of economic analysis of research showed that the highest net profit from 1 ha of flax sowing Ivanivsky, Vruchy, and Universal was obtained by sowing in a row method (row spacing 7.5 cm) and sowing rate of 9 million pieces/ha and, respectively, by varieties was - 19650; 12400 and 11900 UAH / ha. Recommendations for seed production of new varieties of long flax have been developed.
