The object of research is the formation of skills to prevent and combat violence in students of general secondary education. The subject of the research is the content, methods, forms and technologies of formation of skills of prevention and counteraction to violence in students of general secondary education. Research methods: theoretical - analysis of sociological, psychological, socio-pedagogical literature, comparison, classification, generalization to clarify the content of basic research concepts; historical and comparative method of studying foreign and domestic experience in the formation of skills to prevent and combat violence in students of general secondary education; content analysis of the documentation of ZSSO to determine the content of activities for the formation of skills to prevent and combat violence in students of general secondary education; prognostic analysis and modeling in order to verify the main theoretical provisions of the study; empirical: pedagogical observation, generalization of pedagogical experience, pedagogical experiment, diagnostic methods (incomplete sentences, conversations, questionnaires, testing, ranking, problem solving), prognostic (expert assessment) to determine the levels of skills to prevent and combat violence in students. secondary education; methods of descriptive and mathematical statistics, methods of calculating integrated estimates for quantitative and qualitative analysis of empirical data.
