The object of research is the reproduction of effective fertility in degraded acid soils of the western province of Polissya of Ukraine under the conditions of inefficient systems of their use and objective limitations of possibilities of intensification of agriculture at the present stage. The aim of the research is to establish the efficiency of chemical ameliorants in the cultivation of sod-podzolic cohesive sandy soil to the level of needs of competitive crops to obtain high productivity. Research methods are generally accepted for conducting inpatient research. The scientific novelty is to establish opportunities to optimize the conditions of crop nutrition in crop rotation on sod-podzolic soils by cultivating the soil on the basis of improving crop fertilization systems and chemical reclamation. The research task includes substantiation of economic efficiency of ways of increase of fertility of sod-podzolic soils, establishment of interdependence of productivity of agricultural crops of crop rotation on change of chemical ameliorants and mineral fertilizers, studying of influence of doses and forms of chemical ameliorants on agrophysical and agrochemical properties of turf. use of dolomite flour as an ameliorant of complex action - magnesium-containing fertilizer to increase the fertility of light granulometric acid soils. With the use of chemical ameliorants on the background of mineral fertilizers, the lowest soil density in the layers of 0–10, 10–20 and 20–30 cm in the phase of maize germination was obtained - 1.27, respectively; 1.40 and 1.56 g / cm3 were observed for one and a half doses of CaMg (CO3) 2 against the background of N120P90K120. During the harvesting period, the soil density increased in all variants of the experiment, but during application one and a half doses of СаМg (CO3) 2 on the background of N120Р90К120 the lowest indicators of soil density in layers 0–10, 10–20, 20–30 cm were preserved - respectively 1.32; 1.42; 1.58 g / cm3.
