Objects of research – derivatives of p-tert-butyl calix[4]arene, benzo-15-crown-5 and benzo-18-crown-6; benzo[d]imidazoles, dibenzimidazo-crown ethers and their complex compounds with lanthanides (III); synthesis, complexing and extraction properties of tetrasubstituted 5,11,17,23-p-tert-butylcalix[4]arenes. Tetrasubstituted derivatives of p-tert-butylcalix[4]arene with residues molecules of amidobenzocrown ether, carbonylmonoase-12-crown-4-ether and 12-crown-4-ether were obtained. Extraction and complexing properties of calixarenes with respect to metal cations of s-, d-elements have been evaluated. It is shown that calixarene from fragments of N-carbonylmonoase-12-crown-4-ether is an effective complexon of sodium and calcium cations, and forms mononuclear complexes with them (lgK> 5), and with barium and strontium cations complexes of 1:1 and 1:2 (ligand cation). Influence of macrocyclic (12-azacrown-4, benzo-15-crown-5 and benzo-18-crown-6) substitutes on coordinating and spectral properties of p-tert-butylcalix derivatives[4]arene and their complexes with f-metals has been studied. Complexation with lanthanide (III) ions and spectral-luminescent properties of sulfur-containing analogue DBICE have been studied. Influence of physical and chemical factors on solubility of compounds in salt melts associated with dissociation, solvation and complexation processes between solution substance and molten salt is considered.
