The purpose of the work is to study the structural transformations during thermomechanical treatment of low-alloy steels and the influence of special low-energy boundaries in pre-eutectoid ferrite on the structure and properties of low-gloss steels; analysis of the influence of structure and mechanical properties on the energy characteristics of resistance to fracture of high-viscosity tubular and construction steels; research of heat-protective coverings; development of means for forecasting the qualitative characteristics of the metal at the design stage of production. Research methods - metallographic analysis, diffraction electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, mechanical tests, statistical analysis, quantum chemical calculations, mathematical modeling. Criteria and models of formation of structure and properties of thick sheet of low-carbon microalloyed steels from separate and rolling heats are developed. Models of change of the mechanism of destruction depending on sheet thickness are investigated. Criteria for evaluating the use of high-strength metal in the manufacture of boom designs of truck cranes have been developed. The basic technological modes of strengthening of low-alloy steels are established. Criteria for the study of world and domestic experience in the processing of structural materials and the optimal parameters of heat treatment of steels with a structure of needle ferrite have been developed. Theoretical analysis of the influence of thermal oscillations of atoms on the formation of the dislocation structure is carried out. Methods for selecting optimal conditions for GDP testing have been developed.
