In-depth research is carried out on the materials of farms in Rivne region. Research methods. In the course of the research a set of various methods and techniques was used, in particular: economic-statistical, expert assessments and monographic, computational-constructive, normative, analytical modeling and extrapolation, abstract-logical, etc. The development of scientifically substantiated proposals and practical recommendations for investment support of livestock production by generalizing the theoretical and methodological principles of investment support of livestock production, analysis of the current state of investment and state support of the industry, substantiation of its innovative development. During the study of state support as a source of investment support for the livestock industry, it was found that the existing system of state support in Ukraine is imperfect and unbalanced over the years. Its size is one of the lowest among OECD countries and does not correspond to the role played by agriculture in the modern economy. The experience of realization of investment projects in cattle-breeding of Rivne region is studied and it is established that their efficiency essentially increases as a result of realization of investment of innovations. Currently, such projects related to the reconstruction and construction of livestock complexes can be financed only by individual agricultural enterprises. It is established that the balanced functioning of the agricultural sector, in particular livestock, is impossible without its revival in various organizational and legal forms of management and without the development of processes of cooperation and integration.
