The materials of the report reflect the results of research to determine the optimal component composition of the nutrient medium for the indication of the pathogen Mycobacterium avium subspecies paratuberculosis (IDA), as well as the study of the elective properties of the developed environment. According to the results of the research, a nutrient medium was developed for the indication of the causative agent of paratuberculosis. It was found that the developed environment provides the isolation of the culture of M. avium subspecies paratuberculosis from biomaterial from cattle 13.5 ± 0.06 days earlier (p <0.001) compared to the control environment and can be used in veterinary practice for cultural research on paratuberculosis.
