The research methodology consists in correct experimental determination of absorbed doses of internal and external irradiation of reference organisms in natural conditions of the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone and verification of the resulting radiobiological effects in order to create a system of radiation protection of the environment. Measurement of radionuclide activity in the samples was performed by modern standard gamma, beta and alpha spectrometric methods using radiochemical concentration of radionuclides. Modern geoinformation technologies were used to visualize the obtained results. To obtain the characteristics of the areas of interest, aerial photography and stereophotogrammetric processing of remote data were performed. Data analysis was performed using statistical and correlation analysis. In order to study cytogenetic disorders in the seeds of Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) under the effect of chronic ionizing radiation, sampling was performed at two landfills, which are located at contrasting levels of radioactive contamination in the exclusion zones. The physical parameters of the seed and the content of radionuclides in it are determined. Doses of internal and external irradiation of these reproductive organs are estimated. Based on the analysis and radiological survey of reservoirs with different levels of radionuclide contamination, three lakes were selected for comprehensive research under this project. Selected reservoirs are equipped with measuring equipment to determine the radiation doses of fish during the year. To determine the radiation doses of fish during the year, cages with silver Prussian carp, equipped with nanoDot, dosimeters and automatic temperature sensors are placed at different depths. Regulation have been developed for sampling of water, bottom sediments, blood and fish organs for further study of radiobiological effects (cytogenetic, histological and Product Description popup.authors Holiaka Dmytrii M Kаshpаrov Vаlerii O Kashparova Olena V.
