The purpose of the work is an experimental substantiation for developing of the tools for molecular genetic screening of pathogens with foodborne transmission in order to improve the control system of foodborne illness. Research methods: Microbiological methods (bacteriological studies of biological material on nutrient media, vegetation characteristics, colony morphology - size, shape, consistency, surface character, pigmentation, etc., bacterial smears preparation, staining and microscopy, study of enzymatic properties), serological (RA), molecular genetic (identification and typing of isolates of microorganisms in PCR Real Time), mathematical and statistical (processing of the obtained data using the application package Microsoft Excel 2007). During the project we studied the literature data on the biological properties of microorganisms - pathogens of foodborne diseases. The requirements for the diagnosis of these diseases and recommendations for the diagnosis and identification of pathogens using bacteriological, molecular genetic studies and other instrumental studies are analyzed. We isolated strains of enterobacteria (Salmonella spp., Escherichia coli, Yersinia enterocolitica, Yersinia pseudotuberculosis), Staphylococcus spp., Bacillus spp. etc from various objects. We studied cultural, morphological, enzymatic, antigenic, pathogenic properties and sensitivity to antibacterial drugs of isolated pathogens, in order to form a collection of strains of microorganisms . More than 280 isolates were certified (Salmonella spp. (serovars S.gallinarum,pullorum, S. dublin, S. enteritidis, S. typhimurium, S. virchow, S. muenchen, S.
