The subject of the research is statistically optimal methods, algorithms and devices of space-time signal processing in onboard radar systems with antenna arrays and aperture synthesis. The aim of the study is to develop the theory and foundations of technical implementation of cognitive radar systems for the formation of high-precision radar images in the extended field of view of aerospace carriers. The interim report for the first stage of work contains mathematical models of space-time functionally determined signals, fields and random noises in multichannel radar systems and the results of the analysis of their statistical characteristics. Methods of optimal space-time processing of functionally-determined signals in on-board radar systems with antenna arrays are synthesized and investigated. Analytical expressions for measurement marginal errors are analyzed. On the basis of the received methods and algorithmic operations the structural scheme of multichannel onboard cognitive radar system is developed.
