KEY WORDS: Primulaceae, Brassicaceae, Lamiaceae, Asteraceae, Apiaceae, Scrophulariaceae, Xanthorrhoeaceae, antidiabetic collection, amino acids, polysaccharides, inulin, fatty acids, minerals, hydrogens, ascorbic acid extract, pharmacological action, hypoglycemic activity, hypolipidemic activity, antioxidant activity, hepatoprotective activity, gas chromato-mass spectrometry, high performance liquid chromatography, spectrophotometry. Objects of research: complex pharmacognostic analysis of raw materials of unofficial medicinal plants from the families Asteraceae, Primulaceae, Lamiaceae, Apiaceae, Brassicaceae, Scrophulariaceae, Xanthorrhoeaceae; antidiabetic fees; drugs that are widely used in medical practice for the treatment of various diseases. Purpose: pharmacognostic and pharmacological research and clarification of the prospects for the use in pharmacy of some informal medicinal plants and herbal fees. Research methods: physicochemical, chemical, morphological, microscopic, biochemical, microbiological, technological, pharmacological and statistical. Phytochemical research of raw materials of little-studied unofficial medicinal plants (genus Pervotsvit, Chrysanthemum, Yakon, Cat's paws, Rodovik, Bedrynets, Katran, Chufa, Lofant, Chaber, Vasylky, Monarda, antidiabetic fees, etc.) was carried out, content of macro- and microelements. Quantitative content of amino acids, ascorbic acid, fatty acids, polysaccharides, hydroxycinnamic acids, flavonoids, tannins, polyphenols, saponins, micro- and macroelements, etc. was identified and established in the studied objects. The main morphological and anatomical diagnostic features of the studied species of medicinal plants, which are important for the standardization of promising species of medicinal plant raw materials, have been established.
