During experimental studies of the synthesis of multi-element oxides with pyrochlore structure physical processes and phenomena during the formation of solids were studied, the influence of external factors on the phase formation and evolution of the defect structure was analyzed. Specific technological methods of formation, control and optimization of structures in heterogeneous metal-ceramic materials for promising nuclear power devices and radiation technologies are developed. Particular attention is paid to the processes of pyrochlore formation on the basis of titanium and zirconium oxides, which are promising constituents of OBS steels for nuclear power devices. In studies of the mechanisms of formation and evolution of the structure of multi-element oxide pyrochlore and multiphase ceramic coatings based on aluminum oxide, the influence of temperature and time parameters on the degradation of materials under critical thermal loads was determined.
