The aim of the work is to develop a scientific basis for the regulation of reclamation loads on the soil cover, forecasting and sustainable management of soil resources of hydro-scarce lands to ensure the harmonization of productive and ecological functions. Research methods - field research, laboratory and office work, statistical processing, generalization of stock and literary materials, a systematic approach in theoretical research. Theoretical and practical results: we gained new knowledge about the patterns and directions of changes in soil processes and regimes, created predictive models of their evolution and developed scientific foundations for sustainable management of soil resources in hydro-scarce lands to ensure the harmonization of their productive and ecological functions. We have prepared and published scientific publications: Irrigated soils of Donetsk region, ecological and agromeliorative condition, comprehensive measures of rational use; The concept of rationing of reclamation loads on the soil cover of irrigated lands; The concept of sustainable management of soil resources of reclaimed land. Novelty - the rationale for the rationing of reclamation loads on the soil cover, forecasting and sustainable management of soil resources of hydro-deficient lands. Efficiency - the products will contribute to environmental protection, solving the problem of information support of the state of soil resources of hydro-scarce lands, which will increase the productivity of reclaimed soils at 20 -40%.
