The thermodynamic stability of the nanoscale particles in industrial welding alloys of Al-Mg and Al-Si alloying systems with alloying additives Cu, Fe, Zn, Mn, Ti is investigated. It is shown that nanoscale TiC particles can be successfully used as modifiers for Al-Mg aluminum alloys, the presence of silicon reduces the stability of titanium carbide in the aluminum melt and therefore it is not desirable, on the contrary, the titanium increases the stability of the TiC particles. WC and SiC particles can be successfully used as a structure modifier for the Al-Si, Al-Si-Mg system alloys. Safe modes (atmosphere and temperature range) of consolidation of nanosized carbide particles with aluminum welding alloys have been established, they retain the ability of nanosized carbides to modify the cast structure after aluminum melts crystallization.
