Development of a new method for obtaining coatings for the protection of CCCM under conditions of simultaneous use of the gas phase, liquid medium and self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS). Heat resistance tests of coatings in air were carried out using metallographic studies and X-ray structural analysis. A coating was created on Nb and CCCM, and the influence of the process of vacuum diffuse saturation of the surface of samples with ССCM on changes in their porosity was studied. Research has been carried out to increase the rate of formation of the protective layer and decrease the surface porosity of CCCM specimens. Coatings of the composition (SiC-ZrB2-HfSi2-WSi2) and (SiC-B4C-HfB2-ReSi2) were obtained and tested for heat resistance in air at a temperature of 18000C. It has been shown that such coatings provide protection against oxidation for 6 hours.
