The aim of the research is to establish the influence of the system of vine management on the yield of grapes and to develop methodological principles for accounting and control of the main indicators of the production process of plants in vineyards. Research methods - field and laboratory. Indicators of exposable leaf area, leaf index and leaf exposure degree can be used to control of the plant production process in vineyards to highly grape yield in podoclimatic conditions of Ukraine. In trellis-row vineyards of vigorous cultivar group with a feeding area of plants 3 x 1.5 m, the optimal ratio of light and shadow leaves and high quality grape yield is established on cordon with a trunk height of 120 cm; in plantations of medium and low vigor cultivars with a feeding area of vines 3 x 1.5 m – 80 cm, 3 x 1 m - 120 cm.
