The aim of the project is to select from the hazelnut gene pool collected in the institution hazelnuts of highly adapted to the soil and climatic conditions of the Forest-Steppe of Ukraine varieties and hybrids of domestic and foreign selection. Research methods: field, laboratory-field, laboratory. The results of the research allow to recommend to farms of different forms of ownership the creation of highly productive hazelnut plantations in the conditions of the Right Bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine using the following varieties and forms: Bolviller's Miracle, Grandiose, Amber, Yield 80 Torch, Halle, P3M33, P4M32. The studied varieties and forms are adapted to soil and climatic conditions, have high yields and fruit quality and are resistant to major pests and diseases. Based on the results of research, methodological recommendations for growing hazelnuts have been developed. Field of application - gardening. Condition for receiving the report: under the agreement.
