PRETERM INFANTS, NEURO-DEVELOPMENTAL CARE, STRESS, PAIN The object of research - elements of neuro-developmental care, stress and pain in premature infants, skin-to-skin contact, parental stress. The purpose of the study: to improve early (stabilization of vital functions, prevention of infectious and somatic pathology associated with premature birth) and long-term results (survival, morbidity, disability, physical, motor, speech and cognitive development, duration of breastfeeding) care of premature babies children on the basis of scientifically based elements of neuro-developmental care. Research methods: creating a database of premature babies; clinical, laboratory, instrumental, statistical. It is proved that the use of complex neurodevelopmental care and its elements improves the early results of premature birth: reduces the level of late sepsis, necrotizing enterocolitis, retinopathy of prematurity, postnatal growth retardation, reduces the need for long-term ventilation, parenteral nutrition, antibacterial and antibacterial. Prolonged skin-to-skin contact with parents has a positive effect on the health of premature babies with a gestational age of 29-32 weeks, preventing nosocomial infections, promoting breastfeeding. It has been established that the combination of long-term skin-to-skin contact and short-term parenteral feeding is an important factor for the prevention of late-onset sepsis in premature infants. The combination of short duration of treatment in the intensive care unit, breastfeeding in the hospital and the age of the mother, a key factor of which is prolonged skin-to-skin contact, significantly affects the maintenance and prolongation of breastfeeding.
