The aim of the work is to develop a mechanism for detecting and preventing criminal offenses committed in the field of forestry and logging, as well as improving existing legal, organizational and other tools to combat crime related to illegal trafficking in timber. The purpose and objectives of the study were implemented through the integrated application of such methods as systematic study, logical and comparative analysis of regulations, study and generalization of relevant materials, summary, sampling, grouping, comparison, generalization of the results.
