The object of research is the principles and methods of modeling the efficiency management system and forecasting the use of electricity.The purpose of the work is to model the control system and forecast the use of electricity and to test the obtained results on the example of educational institutions.The subject of the research is a system of internal (technical-economic, structural, regime) and external (meteorological, ecological, fuel-energy, macroeconomic) factors that determine the volumes and modes of energy consumption and relations between management entities regarding the efficient use of electricity. Research methods. The solution of the project tasks is based on an interdisciplinary system approach to the formation of the energy management system, creation and maintenance of systems for collecting and monitoring information on energy consumption, use of in-depth energy audit schemes based on energy models, modeling short-term forecasting and long-term energy consumption planning. data. The logical-structural model and software of the circuit "object of monitoring of electricity consumption - factors of influence - regulatory tools" of the system of efficiency management and forecasting of electricity use for educational institutions are substantiated and developed. The concept and hardware and software of the automated system of short-term forecasting and monitoring of electricity consumption by educational institutions have been developed, which has passed bench and practical tests on the basis of the educational building of Sumy State University. The structural scheme of information blocks of the algorithm for calculating the forecast volumes of electricity consumption is developed, the "spectrum" of electricity consumption in the educational process is analyzed and the methods of analysis of its components are proposed.
