To achieve this goal, general and special methods of scientific knowledge were used: the logical-semantic method allowed to clarify the theoretical and legal basis for evaluating the activities of law enforcement agencies as subjects of financial and economic security of Ukraine; comparative legal method – foreign experience of law enforcement assessment and the possibility of its introduction in Ukraine; formal-logical method – shortcomings of the legislation of Ukraine in terms of evaluating the activities of law enforcement agencies and directions for their elimination; statistical method – the state of implementation of law enforcement agencies of their tasks in this area. The practical significance of the obtained results is that they are introduced into the educational process of Sumy State University, which is confirmed by the acts of implementation from 20.12.2018, 20.12.2019 and 22.12.2020; scientific results of the project are used in the study of disciplines "Judicial and law enforcement agencies", "Administrative Law", "Criminal Procedure".
