Investigation subject: interrelation of structure, phase composition, mechanical properties of multielement high-entropy coatings of Ті-Cr-Fe-Co-Ni-Cu, Ті-Cr-Fe-Co-Zr-Cu, Ті-Cr-Fe-Co-Zr-Cu-C, Ті-Cr-Fe-Co-Ni-С and Ті-C-Ni-Сr systems with technological parameters of their deposition onto inner surfaces of low diameter pipes (minimum 40 mm). The improved construction of the ion-plasma sputterer with rod-like target composed of pieces of different chemical elements has been developed and produced. The improved sputterer is applicable for laboratory use to deposit multicomponent coatings onto intter surface of low diameter pipes (40 mm and higher). A mathematical model of mass transfer of sputtered substance has been developed for this sputterer and various configurations of the rod target. The model allows numerically estimating elemental composition distribution of multicomponent metallic coatings along the inner surface of low diameter pipes. Using the developed sputterer the coatings were obtained for the systems Ті-Cr-Fe-Co-Ni-Cu, Ті-Cr-Fe-Co-Zr-Cu, Ті-Cr-Fe-Co-Zr-Cu-C, Ті-Cr-Fe-Co-Ni-С and Ті-C-Ni-Сr, as well as regularities of their structure formation, elemental composition, microhardness and adhesion have been determined depending on the working gas pressure, the growth surface temperature, and the discharge power. Complex studies of structure and phase statehave been done for coatings of wide spectrum of elementl compositions using transmission electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction analysis which have shown that the coatings with compositions close to equiatomic are formed amorphous. The coatings with high Cr content (62 at.%) include corresponding to Cr bcc lattice. The coatings with predominant C and Ti include fcc lattice of TiC.
