In the second stage, atomistic modeling of friction of metal nanoparticles on the graphene surface was performed. This approach considers the motion of each atom by numerically solving the classical Newton's motion equations. In the third stage of the work, a softened surface layer of ice was investigated, which during friction is a solid body with a large number of defects. Accordingly, to describe the ice surface within the theory of phase transitions, a model of viscoelastic medium was developed, the self-similar mode of softening of the ice surface during friction was investigated, taking into account correlated fluctuations and spatial temperature inhomogeneity.
