Mathematical models for research of internal overvoltages in electric networks of own needs of power plants are resulted and self - start of asynchronous motors in post - emergency modes is investigated. Schemes of protection against overvoltages by nonlinear overvoltage limiters (OLN) are offered. It is established that for effective limitation of overvoltages it is expedient to establish the combined scheme of OLN.
