A new source material of rice was created by the method of hybridization, information on the nature of inheritance and variability of quantitative traits of rice hybrids was obtained, and a valuable breeding material was created by the method of individual selection. In the competitive variety testing of early maturing varieties, the lines UIR-0504.18, UIR-3995.15, UIR-4342.15 and UIR-3095.14 were identified, which showed a yield of 8.24-9.40 t / ha versus 8.09 for the standard. Among mid-season forms, the best were short-grain lines UIR-9772, UIR-5620.17, UIR-5577.17 and UIR-5665.17 with a yield of 9.14-10.17 t / ha versus 8.79 t / ha for the Viscount variety, among long-grain lines - the line UIR-8308 (10.52 t / ha) versus 8.63 for the standard. The varieties Lazurit (Certificate of State Registration No. 170614 of March 16, 2017), Marshal (Certificate of State Registration No. 170613 of March 16, 2017), Consul (Certificate of State Registration) are included in the State Register of Plant Varieties Suitable for Distribution in Ukraine.
