The aim of this work is to clarify of the productive traits in sheep of meat genotypes formation mechanisms at different periods of their ontogenesis under the influence the feeding factors. Research methods: zootechnical (conducting experiments on animals), physiological (determining the digestibility of nutrients and nitrogen balance), biochemical, economic, statistical, analytical. The mechanisms of the formation meat genotype sheep under the influence of feeding factors in different periods of animal ontogenesis have been theoretically substantiated. Clarified the needs of lambs during their suckling period, fattening the meat genotypes lamb rams and replacement lamb ewes in energy, protein and essential amino acids. It was found that the use of refined norms for balancing the feeding rations for the young sheep of meat productivity direction enhances the course of metabolic processes in the body of animals, improves the biotransformation of feed into sheep products and provides an increase in the sheep growth rate by 11-25%. It was found that the genotypes of animals created on the basis of the Ascanian Meat-and- Wool breed, the Texel and Vandey breeds, are marked by a high level of feed conversion into sheep products, while improving their slaughter qualities and the metabiological value.
