The value of the land plot was defined as the difference between the amount of discounted income from the use of all forest resources and the amount of discounted costs associated with forest use during the period of turnover of felling. In valuing land covered by forest vegetation and intended for forest cultivation, net operating income was determined on the basis of the income that can be obtained in the market from land lease, provided it is most efficiently used. According to the results of material and monetary assessment, the tax value of wood (rent) at the research sites amounted to UAH 851,572.08. on areas covered with forest vegetation with an area of 31.9 hectares.
