Genotypes obtained on the basis of the frost- and winter-resistant winter and spring varieties) of this plant with high photoperiodic sensibility appeared to be the best concerning low temperature tolerance in winter. New material T. durum Desf. was obtained on the basis of photoperiodic sensitive and neutral durum spring wheat varieties and forms with high grain quality characteristics. Implementation efficiency: durum winter wheat genotypes with high crop capacity and grain quality, tolerance to abiotic and biotic environmental factor were isolated. During 2016-2020, 9 varieties of winter durum wheat were passed to the state variety testing: 2016 - Koralovy, Nadiyny; 2017 – Factor odes’ky; 2018 - Almazny, Yantarny; 2019 - Kryshtalevy, Fakir odes’ky; 2020 - Zolotysty, Granatovy. Transferred varieties of intensive type, universal use on steam and the best non-steam predecessors. Factor odes’ky is an facultative variety, and Fakir odes’ky is the first of durum wheat in Ukraine with alternative type of plant development. The varieties passed to the state variety testing in 2016 and 2017 were successfully tested and introduced into agricultural production in 2019 and 2020, respectively: Koralovy (certificate № 191191 dated 29.10.2019); Nadiyny (certificate № 191192 dated 29.10.2019); Factor odes’ky (certificate № 200515 dated 27.02.2020).Their seed production and introduction in the farms of the Steppe and Forest-Steppe of Ukraine are developed.
