The breeding efficiency of gene sour that were received from the department of genetic bases of breeding, phytopathology and entomology department, the department of genetics and our own collections has been studied. During several last year’s new donors of grain quality including introgressive genotypes that originated from crosses with other – Triticum species (Tr. palmovae, Tr. dicoccoides), and its close relatives (Aegilops, amphidiploids, durum wheat and Elymus) are being involved to the program of hybridization. Methodical studies on the analysis of the duration of the vernalization period and photoperiodic sensitivity in the physiological process of adaptability have shown that most of the created varieties of winter wheat have an average vernalization period (42-48 days) and low photosensitivity. This is due to their high performance. However, it was concluded that due to significant climate change, often in unpredictable directions of meteorological factors, in order to increase the homeostatic varieties in the future it will be necessary to create varieties with a longer ontogenetic type of development and varieties with a longer vernalization period and high photoperiodic sensitivity. 14 varieties of high-intensity type with excellent product qualities, genetic potential of productivity over 10 t / ha, resistant to extreme environmental factors have been created and submitted for state testing.Of these, 6 varieties have been successfully tested and introduced into agricultural production.
