Implementation to antiviral and antimicrobial therapy. popup.stage_title Head Lozovski Valerii Z., Доктор фізико-математичних наук Registration Date 24-01-2021 Organization Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv popup.description2 The object of research in this work are nanosystems consisting of simple metal nanoparticles with different stabilizers and viruses of different types. The work is aimed at determining the dependence of the interaction in such systems on the stabilizer of nanoparticles and their concentration. The work was performed by a group of scientists from various fields of natural sciences, so the research methodology includes the use of modern methods of analyzing the properties of colloidal solutions, microbiological research methods and theoretical methods of studying the physics of nanosystems. Protocols for the synthesis of gold and silver nanoparticles with different sizes stabilized with tryptophan and sodium dodecyl sulfate have been developed. The cytopathic and virucidal action of nanoparticles depending on their stabilizer was experimentally studied. It was found that the use of various stabilizers - sodium dodecyl sulfate and tryptophan have a negligible effect on the virucidal action of nanoparticle preparations, but significantly affect the cytotoxicity of drugs. The experiments confirmed the authors' idea of the predominantly field nature of the interaction between extracellular viruses and nanoparticles. The obtained results allow us to note that the selection of the optimal nanoparticle stabilizer for biomedical applications should be carried out primarily on the basis of their cytotoxicity and stability, while their virucidal action will change slightly. This can be used to optimize further research in nanomedicine.  Product Description popup.authors Biliavska Liubov O. Gordovskaya Nataliya V. Zahorodnia Svitlana D. Zaychenko Oleh V.
