It is a segment of a standard rectangular waveguide with fluoroplastic dielectric plates located along the wide walls of the waveguide. Theoretical studies of the electrodynamics of a hybrid plasma-dielectric waveguide show that the presence of plasma in the drift channel leads to a change in the topography of the main mode of the dielectric wake field, so that in the channel the field becomes bulk. Experiments with the Faraday retractable cylinder for exact adjustment of an electron beam are developed, made and carried out. The cylinder has a built-in temperature sensor that monitors temperature changes from the effects of the beam. Using a laser beam, various methods of accelerating charged particles in dielectric structures are considered, namely: method of accelerating electrons by surface electromagnetic waves, method of accelerating electrons by electromagnetic waves resulting from the Smith-Purcell effect on the dielectric lattice; method of accelerating electrons in plasma excited by the passage of laser pulse in a gas. Analysis of different types of laser plasma accelerators showed that the easiest to implement, and that does not require much laser power for the plasma-forming channel is a laser plasma accelerator on a nylon target.
