The developed ozone water treatment system has compact dimensions of 1000 mm x 900 mm x 2000 mm (WxDxH) and produces 500 liters per day of high quality purified drinking water. Sketch and schematic documentation has been prepared. For increasing the competitiveness of the developed ozone water treatment system, a new lighter and economically feasible design of a barrierless plasma chemical reactor (with a string cathode) has been developed and tested. The string modification of the cathode was 30% easier and cheaper to manufacture compared to the star cathode. Studies have shown a slight difference in the efficiency of ozone generation for both types of reactors. There was also no dependence of the transition of the discharge combustion mode to the phase of spark breakdown on the value of the constant power component for the string electrode in contrast to the star-shaped. The mass of activated carbon required for the effective destruction of water-insoluble ozone within 30 days has been established.
